ME

I am an award winning puppet designer and builder, puppeteer and sometime actor located in Los Angeles, California. From a very young age I have been obsessed with puppets and how they work. I initially set out to become a performer, performing on Broadway and in some National tours, such as 'Rent', 'The Full Monty' and 'High Fidelity the Musical' among a smattering of supporting tv roles. It wasn't until I was cast to replace Rick Lyon as 'Nicky/Trekkie' in the Broadway production of 'Avenue Q' that I committed to pursuing a career in puppets, both performing with and building. I've designed and built puppets for stage, film, tv and many a YouTube channel. I created the rather naughty and widely viewed all puppet web series '88 Jade Way' (executive produced by Justin Lin), performing the lead character "Mr Fu", for YouTube's YOMYOMF channel and the slightly naughty and not at all viewed all puppet web series 'Good Stuff with Barry Goode', performing "Barry Goode" and other characters, for YouTube's Machinima channel and Go90. As a puppeteer I performed "Ira" (whom I also created) on 'America's Got Talent' (Season 10) and Italy's 'Tu Si Que Valez', "Mr Pickle" on CBS' 'Life In Pieces' and I have a recurring role as "Sy The Wide-Eyed Fly" on Showtime's 'Kidding' starring Jim Carrey.

As you can plainly see by the picture on the left I'm very serious about what I do. I am constantly on the lookout for new techniques and collaborations with other artists to sharpen my skills and to broaden my building repertoire to help make the puppets I build the best they can be.
